The U16 boys of the Cambridge City Hockey Club made a clean sweep in the regional playoffs over the weekend.
This means the boys will be going to the National Finals. It was a result that was celebrated around the city on Sunday.
The U16 boys beat the Oxford Hawks 5-0. The score as 0-0 against Bromely and Beckenham and 3-1 versus Guildford.
The Cambridge City Hockey Club has also announced that they are looking for volunteers for 2020-2021.
According to club officials, volunteering is the backbone that holds the club together.
A club secretary, social secretary, newsletter assistance, and sponsorship partners are being sought.
